Welcome to Hazel Court.

Hazel Court is a new and exciting project for Casicare, providing high quality care and support packages for young people leaving care or who are homeless.

The project has been developed by taking into account the young people’s needs and views, looking at reports published by Roger Morgan and working extensively with young people in residential care, children’s rights and commissioning bodies for over fifteen years.

The move from residential care to Semi Independence is an exciting but also daunting experience for the young person.

At Hazel Court we pride ourselves on focusing on the needs and wishes of the young person making the transition a positive experience.

Young people voiced that they wanted independence, being able to do things for themselves also finding it easier to have their friends round.

Privacy and peace and quiet was also a major factor as living in a residential care home can be a little noisy at times.

Hazel Court has taken these factors into account and has undergone a major refurbishment,
providing each young person with their own fully furnished apartment.
